Starting wage $17.20/hr plus a $1,000 Hiring Bonus

At Bank Five Nine, our Universal Banker - Floaters do more than handle transactions; they establish and nurture relationships with our valued customers. Our floating bankers are able to step up and step in to keep our well-oiled branches running smoothly. 

A day in the life of a floater may include jumping into a banker or teller role and delivering a distinctive customer experience at any of our branches.  You will be rewarded with a premium pay for travel and paid mileage.

Essential Functions:

Float team members flex to provide necessary coverage during absences and peak work conditions at all branch locations.

The Universal Banker - Floater responsibilities include:

• accurately process banking transactions
• actively acquire new banking relationships and open new accounts (and consumer loan products)
• retain and deepen relationships by identifying needs and offering custom financial solutions
• provide account servicing and maintenance
• assist with problem resolution for customers
• educate customers on digital bank solutions that will make their lives safer, easier and better
• refer customers to internal business partners (i.e. cash management, mortgage, and wealth management)
• keep informed of and strictly adhere to all bank procedures and industry regulations.

The Universal Banker – Floater is the primary point of contact for our customers and consistently reflects the Bank Five Nine brand.

Must Haves:

High School Diploma or GED

Minimum of one year of (related) in-person customer service and cash handling experience

Basic keyboarding skills and the ability to navigate in a Windows environment

Preferred to Have:

Knowledge of bank products and services

Minimum of one year of retail banking experience
