Micro Seed Fund

Description:

The Micro Seed Fund (MSF) is a loan funding opportunity designed to provide low cost loans, typically for start-up working capital needs for new businesses.

Loan Parameters:

The goal of the program is to remain as flexible as possible in working with the individual needs of applicants. Loan requests range from a minimum of $2,500 up to a maximum of $5,000 (additional funding over the $5,000 may be considered on an exception basis up to $10,000).

Loans are provided on an unsecured basis with no collateral required. The interest rate is only 1% of the total loan amount per year and payable over the term of the loan. There is no prepayment penalty.

Eligibility Requirements:

  1. Obtain the WCTC Small Business Certificate available exclusively through the WCTC Small Business Center. For more information on the certificate, contact Courtney Davis at the WCTC Small Business Center at (262) 695-3420 or email.
  2. Complete a comprehensive business plan with a minimum of 2 years of financial projections. The applicant and guarantors, if applicable, will have no concurrent interest in any other project receiving assistance through the program.
