John Whalen

John has been in the financial services industry for nearly 25 years. Before pursuing a career in lending, John was a wine salesman in Northern Illinois. After being introduced to mortgage lending by a close friend and neighbor, he decided to make a career change and has never looked back.

John makes it his mission to provide the highest level of customer service. He understands that every client has different wants and needs when applying for a loan. “I find it very rewarding to counsel potential buyers on improving their credit score and finding creative ways to obtain loan approvals,” said John.

John enjoys living on Lake Sinissippi in Hustisford with his wife, Deb. He is a board member of the Lake Sinissippi Association (LSA) and currently serves as vice president, running the annual LSA Lakefest. When he is not working, he enjoys spending time boating, watching sports and golfing.
